SAVANNAH, GEORGIA

My friend Elliott joined me on this travel and we were off to a great start because we got upgraded to a Yukon so we were riding in style!! On March 9, 2019 upon arrival Elliot and I decided to go to a drag show where we danced the night away with a bridal party to 80’s songs with good drinks and great company. 

 

That next morning we started our day a little late because of the good drinks, but we felt better after we had iced coffee in the cutest little coffee shop. After we enjoyed a stroll through the community farmers market while gazing at the beautiful Savannah Spanish moss trees we ventured our way to Tybee Island to soak up the sun even though it was cold out, lol. After spending a couple of hours at Tybee we decided to visit a wild life nature reserve. 

 

This trip holds a very special place in my heart because It’s been a dream of mine to be able to look at the beautiful trees of Savannah. The Spanish moss covered trees are very picturesque and the city is so super clean and preserved.

 

After a long day of exploring we decided to have a good ole fashion southern meal that included fried chicken, collard greens, steamed cabbage, mashed potatoes, and all the sweet tea. 

 

What a beautiful journey with a beautiful friend.
