SOUTH HAVEN, MICHIGAN

On May 23, 2019 Brandon and I DROVE to South Haven Michigan. This was one of the first driving vacations that I have done, but one of my favorite journeys I have been on. Jellystone South Haven Camping Cabins welcomed us here. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. It was so nice to cook our food on the grill every night and sit by the romantic fire. The huge pool, family friendly activities, diverse cabins/primitive camping areas, and café made this place the perfect oasis. Brandon and I enjoyed getting our morning coffee here every morning before going kayaking on Lake Michigan and Black River. One of our favorite things here was rowing up to Captain Lou’s Restaurant and Bar and ordering fresh Perch and Boom Boom Shrimp!! North and South Beach were relaxing and the audience was entertaining. We loved going to Van Buren State Park for a more private beach getaway and to also see the sand dunes!  I highly recommend going to South Haven for a weekend getaway and staying at Jellystone South Haven Cabins and Campgrounds for an unforgettable experience. Don’t forget the local icecream, Shermans- it will not let you down.
